“Although the National Park Service gets most of the attention, the other three public land agencies: the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the US Forest Service (USFS) are suffering the same funding, staffing, and policy cuts by the Trump administration. Together, the four federal land management agencies provide conservation, recreation, watershed protection, climate mitigation, wildlife habitat, and countless ecosystem services on 600 million acres or about 28% of the land base of the country… we need all four public land agencies to be funded, functional, and supported by the American people.”
